What is whippedearth® and how does it work?
whippedearth® is an enzymatic micro-polish breakout treatment. It uses diatomaceous earth to gently resurface skin and papaya ferment to break down what's clogging your pores. You can use it as a spot treatment or a full-face mask. No harsh chemicals, no stinging, no purging phase.
What skin types is it suitable for?
It's designed for adults and teens with breakout-prone, oily, or congested skin. It's formulated to feel gentle when used as directed. If you have very sensitive skin, start slow and patch test before your first use.
How do I use it?
As a spot treatment: dab a blob over the breakout, let it dry for 15-20 minutes, rinse with warm water and your buffpuff™ pad.
As a full-face mask: apply a thin layer over your whole face, let it dry, rinse with warm water and your buffpuff™ pad, then moisturise. Use the mask 2-3 times a week.
How often should I use it?
As a spot treatment - as often as you need. As a full-face mask - up 2-3 times a week. Listen to your skin. If it needs a reset, use it. That's the whole philosophy.
Is it fragrance-free?
Yes. No fragrance, no fillers, no unnecessary irritants. Your skin is already dealing with enough - we don't add things it doesn't need.
Is it cruelty free?
Yes. We don't test on animals and never will.
How is this different from chemical exfoliants like retinol or AHAs?
Most chemical exfoliants work by dissolving the top layer of skin, which can sometimes lead to stinging, purging, or sun sensitivity. whippedearth® takes a different approach - enzymatic papaya ferment and gentle physical micro-polishing. You get the exfoliation without the harsh trade-offs. No purging phase. No rebuilding your barrier afterwards.
What is buffpuff™ and do I need it?
buffpuff™ is our exfoliating wash pad. It's how you rinse off whippedearth® - it helps buff away the mask gently and gets a better result than using your hands alone. Each pack comes with 3 pads.
How long does one tube last?
With regular use (2-3 times a week as a mask), one tube typically lasts 4-6 weeks. A little goes a long way - you only need a thin layer.
Can I use it if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
